Company Summary

Resource Environmental Solutions developers and supplies environmental offset solutions that help project developers obtain required permits. When a development project crosses a stream, impacts a wetland or protected animal habitat, compensatory mitigation solutions are required for compliance with Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act. RES helps companies by supplying these ecological offsets at the right time, place, location and quantity.

The process of generating compensatory mitigation involves the restoration of wetlands, streams, and habitats and is regulated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, among other regulatory agencies. As part of the restoration process, properties are placed in perpetual conservation easements with a non-wasting endowment to facilitate their protection forever.

In 2011, RES joined the Inc. 500 at number #399.

With the completion of the 2012-2013 planting season, RES tree count — trees planted as part of the ecological restoration process — now exceeds 5.7 million. Hear a bit more at: http://app1.kuhf.org/articles/1368552348-Houston-Business-Plants-Trees-To-Offset-Pipeline-Construction.html
