Joellen Ameen joined RES in 2017 as the Director of Human Resources. Joellen has 20+ years of Human Resources experience working for local and global organizations. Her expertise spans talent management, recruiting, mergers and acquisitions and partnering with business leaders to implement creative and best practice human resources solutions.
Prior to joining RES, Joellen was a Global Human Resources Director for Baker Hughes, Inc., leading teams in Asia, Canada, UK and the US. Her experience at Baker Hughes included partnering with business leaders in global manufacturing/supply chain, research and development, operations and administration to implement solutions to improve the employee experience. Key achievements include launching career development, mentoring and technical training programs to enhance and grow employee skills and abilities.
Before Baker Hughes, Joellen was a Human Resources leader at The Methodist Hospital in Houston and Sugar Land, TX. While at The Methodist Hospital, Joellen led the recruiting and employee relations functions focusing on best practices and implementing policies and procedures to benefit all employees.
Joellen has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University.
