Our Ecometrics roll up our core activities—the building blocks of our restored ecosystems.
As independent metrics, they each represent uplift. Planting trees, for example,
reduces erosion and removes carbon from the atmosphere.

The collective uplift, however, is our true goal. RES projects transform impaired lands and waters into rich,
fully functioning ecosystems. For each project, our design specifies the best mix of restoration elements, such as
wetland plantings, stream restoration, grassland restoration, and more. These elements combine to meet
specific goals while giving the environment an overall boost.
