The City of Lake Charles had three parks that were affected by Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta in 2020. RES was supplied plant material, installed plants, and performed strategic maintenance on Hillcrest Park, Buddy Prejean Memorial Park, and Grace and Medora Park.

Our team provided restoration plantings and maintenance for these parks. Vegetative planting work was completed over the course of two days. We prepared the site on the first day and organized a tree donation event on the second day, which was aligned with Arbor Day. Throughout the project, our team worked with the mayor’s office, parks department, and other local educational and non-profit entities throughout the implementation of the approved restoration plan.

This project was completed in 2022. Our team was honored to have the opportunity to restore these parks that were impacted by these natural disasters.
