Project Goals and Objectives:
1. Reduce nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) and sediment loading into the Holston River Watershed via tributaries located within and/or in close proximity to the Property through the conversion of hay and fallow land into forest.
2. Generate nonpoint nutrient Credits for transfer under existing and future federal, state and local law, programs, regulations and guidance, including the DEQ Guidance. These Credits will be generated from alteration of land uses resulting in the reduction of nitrogen and phosphorus leaving the Property.
