Working with AECOM, our Florida team provided environmental permitting support for the FDOT District Five work program. The work included specialized engineering and environmental support and coordination with the Water Management Districts, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Project responsibilities included the following on-call services:
- Wetland delineation
- Wildlife and habitat impact analysis
- Natural systems mapping
- Regulatory agency coordination
- Permit application submittals and project management
- Field and scope reviews for project development
- Design plan reviews and comment coordination
- Permit tracking and data management
- Permit renewals and extensions
- Listed species evaluations
- Senate Bill mitigation support and ledger management
- Database management
