The Ohlone West Conservation Bank is a 640-acre property in Southern Alameda, California, which was developed on family land to protect and maintain its rich habitats in perpetuity. The Bank was established in December 2016 to compensate for unavoidable impacts and to conserve and protect covered species and habitats. The Ohlone Ranch encompasses a mosaic of oak woodland, annual grasslands, and chaparral scrub interspaced with springs, seeps, and confirmed breeding ponds for California tiger salamander and California red-legged frog.

Ohlone West Conservation Bank is the only bank with credits for all three federally-threatened species of the California tiger salamander, California red-legged frog, and Alameda whipsnake. The property is rich in abundance and diversity of native plant species and serves the mitigation needs of a unique setting within the Bay Area.
