The Sinking Springs project was implemented for PennDOT through a competitively bid, design-build-operate-maintain solicitation. RES won the project to deliver a stream restoration Best Management Practice, or BMP, to provide over 167,000 pounds of sediment reduction towards PennDOT’s MS4 permit reduction goal for the current (and future) MS4 permits. RES acquired the rights to private property to execute and maintain the BMP – designing, permitting, and constructing it within 12 months.
