RES was contracted to complete mitigation bank permitting, construction oversight, and monitoring services in support of the West Kentucky Wetwoods Mitigation Bank (WKWMB), which is located in northeastern Hickman County, Kentucky. The project restored and established a diverse bottomland hardwood forest complex within the Obion Creek watershed that provided 79.8 mitigation credits for sale to be used as compensation for lost wetland functions and values within surrounding watersheds of the Jackson Purchase region.
