Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2007, RES is the nation’s leading provider of ecological offset solutions.

With many parts of Louisiana losing wetlands at an alarming rate, we began with a passion and commitment to restoring the state’s critical coastal environment.

As the state’s leading supplier of wetland restoration solutions, our team supports the development of large infrastructures and linear projects, including those crossing regulatory jurisdictions by providing timely and cost-effective ecological offsets.

With offices in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, we work closely with our clients, local landowners, regulatory agencies, and other community stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget.

Our mitigation banks, located throughout the state, as well as our custom turnkey sites, allow for a proactive approach that helps permittees reserve project mitigation before permitting – leading to timely permits, reducing operational risks, and lowering mitigation costs.

As our clients strive to be good corporate citizens and strong stewards of the environment, our team is delivering solutions enabling companies to meet their own sustainability objectives. In the Bayou Terrebonne region, RES is partnering with BHP and America’s WETLAND Foundation (AWF) to restore degraded lands and construct new terraces to protect existing levees and nearby communities.
