As a leader in providing species offsets and solutions, RES began pursuing opportunities in Oregon in 2016.
With a focus on preserving and enhancing forest habitat for the federally threatened marbled murrelet and northern spotted owl, our team is pursuing opportunities to support the development of the energy industry in the region while protecting local natural resources.
Our work is growing, and we continue to lay the groundwork to provide solutions to the state’s 1.4 million acres of wetland and streams, including coastal solutions such as eelgrass beds and estuary habitat solutions for salmonids and other anadromous fishes.
As the restoration contractor for the Klamath River Renewal Corporation (KRRC), RES is an integral part of the effort to reopen more than 400 stream miles of historical anadromous fish habitat. We will not only replant and revegetate the project area, but also ensure that salmon and steelhead will regain access to the Sprague, Williamson, and Wood Rivers of southern Oregon. RES will restore the footprint of JC Boyle Reservoir following dam removal. Learn more about the Klamath project here.
