In September 2016, RES acquired Angler Environmental, a state-of-the-art water resource company providing turnkey economically sound solutions to preserve and protect watershed ecosystems since 1999.
Initially, Angler provided environmental consulting and management but added construction capabilities in 2004.
As a leader of the mitigation industry, Angler became the first company in Virginia to receive approval of general E&S control specifications for both wetland and stream mitigation banks by amending the erosion and sediment control law.
Managing over 24 mitigation banks, RES has never experienced a mitigation bank failure; and has completed over 200 stream wetland restoration, and stormwater management projects throughout the Commonwealth.
