Alyssa is a Project Manager with RES, supporting mitigation banking efforts throughout Florida. She joined RES in 2022 after working in water resource and ecological restoration roles across the region.
Alyssa graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017 with a degree in Biology. She began her career at the St. Johns River Water Management District, where she worked on environmental resource permitting and compliance with mitigation banks. During that time, she also earned her S-130/190 certification to assist land managers with prescribed burns.
In 2021, Alyssa transitioned into water quality and freshwater restoration work, where she obtained her herbicide applicator license and focused on ecosystem restoration initiatives before joining RES. As part of the RES team, she manages permitting and compliance for existing mitigation banks, including Highlands Ranch, Bluefield Ranch, and Big Cypress Mitigation Bank. She conducts research for potential greenfield bank opportunities. Alyssa oversees operational functions to maintain permit compliance and facilitate credit releases, manages joint venture partner relationships across Florida, and has recently assumed responsibility for credit sales for Big Cypress.
