Katy Chappaz is a Client Solutions Manager at RES with more than 10 years of experience in ecological restoration, environmental consulting, project management, and stakeholder engagement across Southern California and Europe.
Before joining RES, Katy managed large-scale restoration and mitigation projects throughout Southern California, leading multidisciplinary teams through planning, permitting, implementation, monitoring, and long-term stewardship. She combines technical environmental expertise with a collaborative, client-focused approach to helping organizations achieve successful project outcomes.
Katy holds a master’s degree in environmental policy from Sciences Po and bachelor’s degrees in geography and philosophy from UCLA. An American-French-Kiwi, she brings a global perspective to relationship building, problem-solving, and environmental leadership.
Based in California, Katy works closely with clients to navigate complex environmental challenges and develop practical, sustainable solutions that create lasting value for communities, ecosystems, and the landscapes they depend on.
