As Client Solutions Manager at RES, James partners with clients, engineers, contractors, and public agencies to translate complex environmental challenges into buildable solutions. With a North Carolina General Contractor’s License and hands-on construction experience, he understands the technical and commercial constraints that determine project success.
In this role, James applies his grounding in design-build delivery and construction management to stream and wetland restoration, large-scale mitigation, water quality, and resilience projects. He helps clients define goals, manage risk, and implement Nature-based Solutions that deliver both ecological and community value.
Before joining RES, James spent eight years as Senior Business Development Officer at Carolina Environmental Contracting, where he specialized in erosion and sediment control and stream and wetland restoration. That hands-on field experience shapes how he partners with contractors and manages risk today.
