Kristen joins RES from the Port of Baltimore, where she served as the Chief of Strategy & Partnerships in the Office of Harbor Development. Through this role, Kristen led the Port’s Innovative Reuse & Beneficial Use Program, which has gained national attention over the last several years. She also worked to advance regulatory and policy initiatives, performed coordination among state and federal agencies, and facilitated external partnering opportunities as well as stakeholder engagement. Before the Port of Baltimore, Kristen spent almost a decade with Maryland Environmental Service as a technical project manager, specifically focusing on sediment management and wetland restoration.

Kristen holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Biology from Salisbury University and one in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She also has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the American Military University.
